Illness at the popular Sonesta Beach Resort & Casino

Tourists holidaying at the all-inclusive Sonesta Beach Resort & Casino have reported suffering from food poisoning following their stay at the hotel.

Tourists have returned home complaining of illness symptoms such as severe vomiting and diarrhoea all classic symptoms and signs of food poisoning infections such as Salmonella, E-coli, Shigella and Campylobacter.

The five star all-inclusive hotel advertised by Thomas Cook and Thomson is very popular with travellers visiting the Naama Bay area in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt. Holidaymakers returning to the UK have complained that the food served at the hotel was undercooked.

Simpson Millar’s expert Travel litigation team have been dealing with many enquiries from holidaymakers who had recently stayed at this property during the months of May and June 2012 and who are suffering from gastric illness as a result of food poisoning.

One couple from Manchester that stayed at the hotel in May suffered badly from this illness outbreak as they were still experiencing illness symptoms on their return home.
