Holidaymakers are returning from the Iberotel Aquamarine with classic symptoms of food poisoning which include: profuse diarrhoea; stomach cramps; fever; lethargy and nausea. Salmonella, a common cause of travellers’ diarrhoea, has been identified in the stool of a guest returning from the Iberotel Aquamarine.

The Iberotel Aquamarine is a ‘5T’ hotel sold to package holidaymakers in the UK by Thomson Holidays. Investigations are underway to see if adequate due diligence checks have been carried out by Thomson and whether our clients should be entitled to compensation from their tour operator for the Hotel’s failures.
