Continuing problems at the Coral Sea Waterworld, Sharm el Sheikh Egypt

We have been instructed by holidaymakers who have recently returned from the Coral Sea Waterworld in Egypt and who are suffering from gastric symptoms to include vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, headaches and lethargy.

These are all classic signs of bacterial infections such as cryptosporidium, salmonella, E-coli etc, which if left untreated can have long term consequences on an individual’s health.

We understand that the main swimming pool and the waterslides had to be closed for a short period of time, as faeces was found within the pool and some holidaymakers had actually vomited in the pools.

This is not the first time we have heard of complaints regarding the swimming pools having to be closed due to faeces being detected, in fact we are currently representing in excess of 250 holidaymakers who returned from the hotel in 2014 with similar symptoms and similar complaints following the ‘logging crazy’.

It would seem that the hotel and First Choice Holiday’s part of the TUI UK Group of companies has failed to learn from their mistakes from last year and are allowing the same practices to reoccur this year resulting in holidaymakers suffering severe illnesses due to a failure in their processes and general standards at the hotel.
