While TUI owned First Choice and Thomson still boast that the Jaz Aquamarine features a "first-class dining scene", continuing reports of food poisoning symptoms by guests returning from this "luxury" hotel may disagree with the premium 'platinum' branding that these UK tour operators have bestowed upon it.

Outbreak update

The reports that we received earlier this year cited severe diarrhoea as one of the main symptoms of the illnesses that people were suffering from at the Hurghada hotel, something which could be attributed to a disease with a bacterial or parasitic origin. Guests returning from the Jaz Aquamarine revealed to us that they had suffered symptoms similar to gastroenteritis, which from the evidence they provided points to a possible problem of food poisoning.

Can I claim for illness?
