The Tour Operator has changed the hotel
The Tour Operator informs you at the last minute that they have moved you to a different hotel in a different resort. What are your options?
The Package Travel Regulations 1992, Regulation 12, states that if your Tour Operator makes a significant change to the holiday, then they should give you a choice of either accepting the change or your money back. If the alternative hotel if of a lower standard than the one originally booked then any difference in price must be returned to you. In certain circumstances, compensation may also be payable.
